Joe+N day-tour 2008

don't teach a man to bake, teach him to eat

On Saturday August 23, 2008, Joe+N will perform the ninth-annual day-tour in and around Rochester NY. the day will consist of 6 shows, each consisting of a 20-30 minute set performed from the back of my jeep (or thereabouts).

this year, each stop will again focus around the elements and will include each of the projects i'm currently in (give or take).

a boxset release consisting of 2007 Day-tour recordings will be available for sale at the shows.

i will record the entire day on both audio and video, will will be used for future releases and projects.

here is the schedule (check back regularly for any changes):

  • 11am - mendon ponds - Entente Cordiale map

    on RT65, coming from the north, enter the second park entrance (Hopkins Point Rd). follow that to Pond View Rd. there are some picnic benches right there on Hundred Acre Pond (look for my red Jeep)

  • 12pm - lock32 - Deciduous vs Conifer map

    on RT65/Clover Rd. enter the park area and proceed to the back of the parking lot area.

  • 1pm - Corbett's Glenn - Tuurd map

    turn on to Glen Road from Route 441 and park before the first curve in the road. we'll be playing inside the tunnel

  • 2pm - Linear Park - Crush the Junta map

    Linear Park Drive off of 441 Westbound - Penfield, NY. park at the top parking area. we'll meet there and proceed up the creek and most likely play on one of the boulders in the water.

  • 3pm - Lake Ontario Beach / Durand-Eastman Park - Tumul map

    lake side parking area on Lake Shore Blvd, across fromEastman Lake / Durand Lake. look for my red Jeep. we're going to try to play right on the beach, which is down below the parking area.

  • 4pm - Cobbs Hill - Various map

    follow the road (entrance from Highland/Monroe) to the top near the reservoir. we're be playing in the pine grove on the right side of the road. this stop will actually consist of multiple 5min duo performances. sprint to the finish.
